PROPHETS: A Call for Change, A Promise of Hope

A new curriculum written and designed for the PROPHETS performance!
by Reverend Elizabeth D. McLean

This exciting new study authored by Reverend Elizabeth McLean (available in a separate participant's and leader's guide) will guide your group through a fascinating and in depth exploration of the Old Testament prophets in advance of the PROPHETS performance. The curriculum brings to vivid life these challenging historical times and the prophets' enduring words of conviction and hope.

Who were the prophets? Why were they called by God? What were the major themes and messages they conveyed to the people of their time? How do these same words continue to speak powerfully to all of us in our new millenium?

The PROPHETS curriculum is divided into ten study chapters which can be used in a variety of ways, from shorter studies consisting of a few sessions to longer ones encompassing many weeks, based on the needs of each group. Many churches have now used this provocative study to better prepare for the PROPHETS performance. If your church has recently booked PROPHETS, please contact us for more information about receiving the new curriculum.

Reverend Elizabeth D. McLean is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and a graduate of Princeton University, Emory University School of Law and Princeton Theological Seminary. She currently serves as Associate Pastor for Christian Education at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park, MD, where she is responsible for adult education and small group ministry.
