Booking information:

Thank you for your interest in
The Gospel of John. Professional actor Brad Sherrill has committed the entire Gospel of John to memory; with a few simple props, a wooden table and a chair, he brings the fourth gospel to vivid life in performance.

The Gospel of John is adaptable to most any sanctuary, theater or meeting hall. A sound system and reliable wireless microphone are required. A preliminary site visit is preferred (for local Atlanta-area performances only) in order to address all performance logistics. Additionally, 2-3 hours are needed in the space prior to performance to prepare props, test sound, lights, etc. If available, it is helpful to have the church's sound technician present during this preliminary rehearsal.

Running time for The Gospel of John:

Act I (Chapters 1-11): 1 Hour 20 minutes
10-15 minute intermission.
Act II (Chapters 12-21): 50 minutes

Please contact us directly for complete program fee information. While there is generally a fixed program fee for The Gospel of John, a few other costs associated with the performance need to be determined (for example if airfare and lodging is required for performances outside of Atlanta, GA., and whether we might combine your particular performance with other shows we have planned in your city or state.)

"The Gospel of John" is an amazing achievement. That needs to be said again. "The Gospel of John" is an amazing achievement. Atlanta actor Brad Sherrill, who created this original piece and performs it ... has taken the words of the New Testament's fourth book and, with his voice, his imagination and a few props, shaped it into a transforming two hours of theater..."
